It is command. You run it in a terminal and then paste the output here as text in a code block.

Again from template.

Summary

Hello.

Post your terminal/konsole in- and output as text (no pictures) from:

inxi -Faz

Without it, you will not receive any help from the Garuda team or your topic is likely to be closed without notice.

Before you open a new help request, read relevant sections of the Arch and Garuda wiki.
Thoroughly search your issue and any error messages in the forum and on the web.

Report everything you have already attempted to solve your problem.

Would also help if you don't put a hoop to jump through to access the GDoc.

Then

This could be the problem

imma reinstall it again

You need to use the Gnome (community) edition to get Gnome desktop.
It's the second from bottom on the Garuda Linux | Download page.

:grey_question: :grey_question: :grey_question:

That's where it is, in the Community section. :woman_shrugging:

Mate and cinnamon are community editions, IIRC @Naman
Barebones also not community, so just a typo?

i didnt want know it just looked like gnome and i checked it because i had no search and that kinda stuff i wanted the kde version what it installed on the usb drive im not sure if it did it on the ssd tho

do i need to check anything in the section where i checked the gnome desktop?

No, start with the default apps and see how it goes.
Then update with the update command from terminal and then reboot
