Nvidia drivers dont work

I have installed nvidia drivers and optimus manager using the settings manager but both dont seem to work on my system. I tried both zen and lts kernels and have tried the prime driver to no avail. Included the optimus manager log down below in case it is useful.

And why are you using optimus-manager? Have you tried using the nvidia driver without it? There's a reason we don't instal it by default. I suggest you roll back to a snapshot before you installed optimus-manager and follow this guide instead: Switching between integrated and dedicated graphics | Garuda Linux wiki

Followed the guide after loading back the snapshot and it dosent seem to be working.
The command In the guide gave the output:

and trying out prime-run nvidia-settings gave the output:

Garuda Nvdia drivers did used to work. I had to reinstall today but before that it was functioning just fine. Is there a chance if I reinst using the same iso i first used (A pretty old one that still has timeshift and optimus) it starts to work again?

Wh-what. Do you use bbswitch or in any other way disabled your Nvidia card?

Fresh install. I literally installed this and only ran the command that was here.

Only thing i did that wasnt here is I got the mhwd functional. Dosent work unless I syslink libhd.so to libhd.so.21. Also is my modprobe.d supposed to be empty? no 20-nvidia in grub.d either

Can this be a issue with my optimus chip? I have been using a ver of garuda that was still using timeshift and optimus manager for a while and this issue happens on other os too. Or i think it does since nobara OS and endeavour both didnt work

No problem with the hardware it seems. Works fine on windows

I recently had issues getting the 'nvida kernel module' to corrrectly build and install via 'dkms'. You can read the thread here...

Nvidia-settings ERROR: NVIDIA driver is not loaded

This takes a little explaining. But the short story is... I did what was suggested in order to get the nvidia kernel module to build/install --> sudo dkms autoinstall

But this resulted in an Error when the kernel tried to load the nvidia kernel module. I was then told that a problem was discovered with the 'pahole' package, and that I needed to upgrade my system and try again. So, I upgraded my system, which reulted in a downgrade to the 'pahole' package from 1.24 to version 1.23. Now, here is what needed to be done on my system in order to 'try again'.

  1. First I needed to uninstall the nvidia kernel module that had been built with the 'bad' version of pahole. Then reboot the system. Then I had to build/install the nvidia kernel module again via dkms(with version 1.23 of pahole installed, by updating my system as I stated earlier). Then reboot. That was done with:
sudo dkms remove nvidia/515.65.01
sudo systemctl reboot
sudo dkms autoinstall
sudo systemctl reboot

I would recommend reading the thread I linked to, but this is the long story shortened. I hope that this will help you out. There is another person there that posted a thanks for the thread as it helped him solve his problem.

Try installing regular kernel and drivers:

sudo pacman -Rdd nvidia-dkms
sudo pacman -S linux linux-headers nvidia

Reboot and send garuda-inxi again
