You should make sure you have 'fully' upgrade your linux system/installation when trying to get tech support, just to let you know.

Here it is

These lines are interesting:

NVRM: This PCI I/O region assigned to your NVIDIA device is
NVRM: BAR0 is 0M @ 0x0 (PCI:0000:01:00.0)

Please check for firmware (BIOS) updates and apply if there is one, then on your firmware, disable resizable BAR, above 4G decoding or similar settings. GPU may be failing to load because you have enabled resizable BAR but booted in MBR/BIOS mode.

What is resizable BAR? And yeah I am booting in bios mode. Could switching to uefi solve this?

Go to your BIOS settings, this is done by hammering a specific button (try esc) during bootup. Disable resizable bar (AFAIK this is related with memory allocation and won't work on MBR / BIOS) above 4g decoding and similar settings. Save and exit.

Neither of those seem to be settings in my bios. Changing Virtualization settings had no effect either
Should I attempt to reinstall garuda on UEFI instead of legacy boot?

Yes, if you can. Also you can check if drivers are working on live USB before installing. Boot USB on UEFI mode and if drivers are working go ahead with install. You can check “graphics” part of garuda-inxi: If you see driver: nvidia, it works. You currently have driver: N/A which means driver is not working.

Resizable bar might have a different name or may not be modifiable at all.

None of the settings resemble that or imply its that. I may install windows to use afuwin to install a different bios thats compatible with my computer. Also for some reason the live usb dosent seem to boot in uefi. Weird

Edit: Managed to boot in uefi (turns out the usb was a bit janky) and It says driver: N/A once more. Gonna reinstall once more to see if it works

Edit 2: Managed to find the laptop my own laptop is based on. And yes turns out it does have resizable bar and i do indeed have a low tier bios. I know i can upgrade my bios using third party tools (heck i can turn it into this exact laptop) but it will void my warranty. Should i do attempt it if the customer support cant help with my issue?

I have contacted tech support and have managed to disable 4g decoding but nothing seems to have changed. Issue still persists and poking around with other settings did nothing too.

Latest update fixed the issue
