Garuda update in terminal does not fix the issue; same as updater icon; octopi also does not work.

(was not able to respond to the last forum post comments because system was further compromised; most of the issues have since been fixed much appreciated; also experiencing a bug or exploit allowing for a remote attacker to break snap restores from loading to solve os not loading on multiple systems requiring a OS reinstall)

(only thing that seems to fix this issue is a wipe of the install drive (writing zeroes using Kali installer)

Much appreciated. Having issues with multiple operating systems & mobile devices. Garuda is the best of all operating systems have been using. Much appreciated. =]

Also getting an error on every system when updating "possibly missing firmware"

Try

sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/sync/*

Maybe

sudo rm -r /var/lib/pacman/sync/

Mmm, now I'd go for an

update remote fix

Thank you! Three other random issues. Not sure if this is the appropriate forum.

OS loading from boot menu breaks after an update. Usually two successive updates one day after the other. Always clear packages using "Stacer" after each update. Trying every Snap now does not work. Was able to use really old Snaps initially now those also do not work.

Installing Stacer after a full system install & update usually allows it to load in a few seconds; if it is installed after the additional packages it takes longer. (now also after just the system update seems to be an exploit; as it does not happen every time; more likely after successive system updates.)

VLC volume on tracks & videos resets after repeating erroneously. (seems to be a possible exploit; wifi 6 is turned off in bios & no internet or power.. connected when this happens) Audio also cuts out at certain points in the track as if the track has been manipulated yet it seems to be have been.

Much appreciated.

One issue per topic, please open other threads. This is important for helpers but especially future readers searching in the forum.
