I also never had this problem before, all worked fine. I just went 3 minutes away of my laptop and it didnt work
Did it just happen or you've already rebooted?
I'm asking this because I remember issues linked to audio after suspend/resume.
Rather than rebooting, try a:
systemctl --user restart pipewire pipewire-pulse
systemctl --user daemon-reload
It just happened, then I rebooted because I thought it might fix that.
Should I still try your commands?
No, if the issue persists after reboot that won't help probably...
Actually it worked! Thank you
Do you know or have any idea why the sound system "crashed"?
Never say never
Not really, the first hit of a forum search (in relation to sleep/suspend, that was my idea) was
but I didn’t even have the time to read it. Go for it
I’d have given a look also here (maybe just the troubleshooting section):
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire
You might start working on the logs, i.e. journal.
Just see if the problem occurs again. It might be a long (but interesting) journey to find the root cause.
Sure, thanks for your help & time!
Have a good Day
