Videos not playing

Recently noticed a new issue..

Videos are no longer playing and stay stuck until I click the speaker icon in the task bar from where volume is controlled. Simply clicking that speaker icon will allow the video to continue to play.

This behavior is consistent for all videos in the browser as well as for videos played locally (ie. via VLC)

I'm assuming something may have gone amiss related to upgrades.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

@dr460nf1r3 can you add this to your radar? Maybe this is not something we should ship by default, it seems like a very niche tool anyway :eyes:

Thanks @TNE
Good to know I'm not alone on this.

Not sure how...but the issue seems to have resolved itself somehow.
Happy to report that all is back to normal across browser and files playing locally.

Thanks for notifying me, my friend @TNE

JamesDSP is no longer autostarting, we will keep it preinstalled so those, who want to use it are able to

Don't necro-bump threads, if you have a new issue, report it on a new thread following the reporting template.
