first you don't have to do this !!!!!!!
yesterday i de-installed auto-cpufreq-git
but for other reasons (problems with performance in battery modus)
therefore i use a tipp here and install corectrl

but for your problem it can help
i installed firefox 88.1.1 with no problems

can't say if it is only your problem or it is gernerelly a conflict with the -performance tweaks and auto-cpufreq-git

It is a common problem searching in the forum, always solved by removing auto-cpufreq-git
