The AI generated image posted here made me confused for some time ,
can we just keep it separate please ??? ![]()
The AI generated Art and human Art ??? ![]()
Apologies for the delay, I thought this was already moved since this was mentioned by SGS. Iāve now moved it.
edit:
Just a reminderā¦
going forward, AI art should be posted to topics like
and
Sry was not my intention to confuse anyone.
The image was only partially created by an AI.
I also had to do some work myself.
Greetings Harko
Made a retro like Garuda G logo. Itās not perfect but was fun to make for the most part. There are more variations in the folder below. And a inkscape svg you can mess with.

Now I understand the note sign in your personal Garuda āGā logo ![]()
I find too many logos for a ābrandā rather counterproductive, and the āGā should actually replace the eagleās head, but there are many nostalgics who donāt want to do without it ![]()
Now we have two, that should be enough. ![]()
By the way, I think the other avatar is nicer than the āgreen-blueā one youāre using.
All a matter of taste in the end. ![]()

I love the font type of the first one, which is it?
This one.
1st of all, Iāve expressed it before (regarding @SGS -made Garuda themed art/wallpapers, anyway), but much respect and appreciation for you and your creations!
I tried searching for ālive wallpaperā and āgifā without much luck but Iāve stumbled upon a couple here and there within this thread.
Is there perhaps a repo of community-made animated wallpapers that might save me from the need to manually parse 5+ years worth of posts?
What Iām really after is a Garuda splash screen but I figured a Garuda themed animated wallpaper, gif, webp, etc. is more or less the same thing. If anyone has made Garuda splash screens, though, Iād love to know (if so, Google doesnāt know about any)
Thanks!
PS - no garuda-inxi necessary in this neck of the w̶o̶o̶d̶s̶ forum, right? ![]()

I only know of this but you need wallpaper engine to make it work Steam Workshop::evil red ( looks like this when running Screenshots | Garuda Linux preferred :master: - #1911 by elite)
The other side would be Garuda Wallpapers from TilliDie :-) - #195 by TilliDie but I donāt think they will be in a size you want
Correct, but your post here in
Garuda Community > Showcase/show-your-artwork
is off-topic ![]()

Not entirely off-topic, this post sums up quite well what I think of AI-generated artwork.
Itās certainly difficult to translate, but the core message is quite accurate.
Using AI to prompt images and text is, to stay with the metaphor, about as artistic as flicking a light switch.

AI Artists!!!elf1!11
Guys who angrily cry into my voicemail that Iām an AI hater and that thanks to AI they can finally be āArtists!!!eleven!11ā too, firstly, have absolutely no understanding of art, and secondly, they donāt understand me either.
Personally, it doesnāt matter to me at all whether you prompt your images or whether you declaim manifestos against the zeitgeist, gutturally screaming, syntactically bleed onto canvases woven from your pubic hair with a severed leg stump, happening-like, and syntactically screaming. (In addition to computer science and visual communication, I also studied and learned art with Kippenberger, Kramer, Kiefer, and a few other names ā and have therefore seen and done things for which you probably have neither a term nor a name.) Iām only interested in whether your images mean anything to me.
Just because you coax images and texts from a machine programmed to create images and texts doesnāt make it art. The difference lies in the absence of that arbitrariness that is inherent in common property. In principle, anyone between birth and burial can operate an AI. Drawing, painting, sculpting, programming, erecting precise brick walls, composing music, or laying life-saving bypasses ā these are only possible for those who have devoted themselves to it for years, often half a lifetime.
Using AI to prompt images and texts is, to stay with the metaphor, essentially as artistic as flicking a light switch: Yes, you turn on the light. Great ā that solves the problem of darkness. Or you simply enjoy flipping the switch ā fine too, that solves the problem of boredom. But then, intoxicated by your own ālight-giving power,ā to expect the world to perceive you as Einstein, or at the very least as a physicist, electrician, lighting technician, lighting designer, Prometheus ogled by Zeus, and celebrated illumination magician ā that is only one thing: intrusive and, as such, simply annoying.
Have fun with AI, but donāt let yourself be blinded, and above all: donāt blind others. Be human, use your head, remain yourselfāand thus be capable of action, even if your tools are unavailable. If your tools are just tools and not the sole enabler or exclusive access to a material. If, in case of doubt, you can also build your own tools. Consider and understand: If you can only do something with AI, then you canāt do anything.
This remembers me of the song 99 Luftballons.
Love that song as well this pic
