Btw, why do you think like that ?

What is healthy life in your view ? :slightly_smiling_face:

Oh lordy, do you want a laundry list of what could use fixing?

First: “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers”.

IDK, i don’t have much experience so
 :person_shrugging: ?

I just wanted to know why do you feel that this country in itself is unhealthy :slightly_smiling_face:

The joke is:

The US has no public health system, and the private one is expensive and often rigged against you. So a smart watch saying the software “Healthy Living” isn’t available here is ironic.

Oh, I thought it was about obesity rates in the States or something :joy: I guess that was only part of it!

Well
It’s all part of the same problem

I think of it being more like sarcasm, or even satire. Or saddening, depending on one’s viewpoint. All I know is that just prior to the Affordable Care Act going into effect, I had major surgery that couldn’t be avoided if I ever wanted to walk again. It cost every penny of my retirement savings. All of it.

Nowadays, just a few years later, if not for that same Act, I probably would not be alive. It has given me affordable care that I could not have otherwise received, due to being financially broken because the healthcare system had previously left me in poverty.

It may be a joke–and it is–but it saved my life, so spare me the sarcasm and I’ll spare everyone from hearing all about my physical ailments. LOL!

Tech billionaire annoyed by EU rules

New digital law DSA requires online platforms to delete illegal content such as hate speech. Tech billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly ready to take a radical step to remove his Twitter successor X from the rules.

Report: Musk threatens to withdraw Twitter successor X from Europe

I hope it’s not an empty threat.

I mean, someone needs to be the bad guy, who condemns these companies for chaos. EU should limit tech billionaire companies, not only for tax but in regards to privacy and rules based order.

These Tiktok type sneak into the society and some government entity should draw the red lines for the society to work normally

I think both immigration of random People into EU is going to be a challenge and the same with Technology.

Hate speech law I don’t know about but the tech companies should be ruled by local law.

Ask again

Mind you, the “hate speech” law isn’t likely about people voicing their daily concerns on a street corner. It seems to be more focused at criminals, people planning actual harm and anti-state activities.

That’s what it seems to be about. Don’t ask me how good or bad it is. I don’t know.
