Yeah, absolutely. I love English for how accessible it is, particularly compared to complicated languages like German.

Yes I have in my home, still used here in general
Probably was a poison bomb, I actually sneezed and coughed for 10 seconds after that, a guy actually saved us by pushing the the lift button from outside and instead of being angry on him, we thanked him(in our mind, he actually ran away)
I don’t think any language is complicated or easy, if it’s not your native language then it would might be difficult for you, no matter which language it is.
Example, I am learning English since from 1st grade, still I am many times confused
I prefer English to Chinese, thank you ![]()
The complexity of a language is something we can measure objectively.
Well, there is actually a difference based on the language you are coming from.
For me, as a German, I can easily understand English, since both share the same roots.
As for a language that is most easy to study by people from different backgrounds, there are attempts like Esperanto - Wikipedia
Simply because manuscripts are different, there is no similarity that’s why you feel hard,
Even the writing style of hindi is different from English, there is no similarity but If I start learning something like Sankskrit then i would be able to catch it easily(in lesser time) as it’s simply ancient version of most of the languages currently spoken in india. Even holy books are written in Sanskrit till these days too in general.
she’s a multimillionaire.
with rich people it’s never about money, it’s about power and control over others.
From the smell and your presence he must have associated you and anyone else who was on the lift at the time as the culprits. ![]()
No, actually no one entered the lift after us and someone from the upper floors push the lift button because of which it went up without taking anyone
I think ya’ll’s immersion into who dealt it where, when, what floor and did he(she?) run away, is friggen hilarious. In any language. All I got to say is, would somebody open a damn window? Things is gettin’ purty bleak in here. ![]()
The above is how many of the people speak in the region of 'Murka where I originate. Their writing is just as bad. Many of you, in this international forum, have better spelling and grammar than my compatriots.
Personally, I blame the parents, the schools, society–basically everyone–for contributing to this. It can change. I recall my mother chastising my stepfather, a college-degreed beginning businessman, for speaking like a hick–a hayseed, a country boy–and he never did again. And became a very successful person. Rude and crude does not ever have the power of “gentle persuasion” as in my parents case. She spoke to him in front of my 5-year old presence, and it has stayed with me.
But, man, nothing beats a good fart story!

Boy, did that bring back memories. And hiding under the auditorium stage. ![]()
Yes, or sitting in the hallways with our heads to our knees and hands over our heads. Soft tissue verses flying concrete and rubble = game on. ![]()
