In that case, try listing your usecases. Are your daily tasks CPU intensive?
As you can see GPU is better with the AMD one 2000MHz vs 1450Mhz, that’s a plus point to consider.
But the AMD one seems to 2 years older…

general purpose and office use maybe some light gaming , i want a laptop that is quiet , runs cool and has good battery life.

Intel does seem more efficient…
If you don’t game too much, and you don’t mind a good LCD panel, then Intel should be good enough for you…
Intel is also the more lightweight one I suppose…

I bought two notebooks in 2021, one with intel the other with amd, the amd is better.
But that’s just my subjective opinion, the next one will tell you that intel is better, his subjective opinion or he works for Intel

Both make great HW…
5800h has lower power consumption than Intels chip(Notebookcheck)
P.S power consumption must be measured(tested) in watts. Both can hit over 100w, yet 5800h is lower power chip. Marginal performance diff in cinebench.
U can double check that.
Both are great chips. Unlikely it matters much at the end of the day.

From what I remember you were using KDE right? have you tried anything else like gnome or hyprland? Maybe KDE just hates your hardware.
