This is just a third of a keyboard for me -_-

why man? it has everything a keyboard should have… :eyes: If it’s the function row it can be remapped and frankly I have completely stopped using the function row for controlling things like brightness I just go terminal brightnessctl even though I have the proper keybinds in place… No one weirder than me here.

It’s me actually , but I also use things like bluetoothctl, alsamixer(ahh earlier  ), etc…etc .
Actually I do it because they are saved in the history , so instead of pressingbrightness button 5 times to go to the desired level , I usually use brightnesctl because fish already writes the rest of the thing

I understand condensed keypads as a safe measure, also when you are tight on space, but that is all. A proper, full keyboard always has many advantages.

One of the finest keyboards ever made. Wang 724-725. All the way to F-32. You could do DE or WP easy as pie.

I remember those, but i never had one myself. My first one was a PS/2 BTC 5xxx/6xxx series, with the three violet power extra keys.

As long as the status garuda-inxi output is discussed, there are no other problems, which is extremely reassuring.

Freaks, you’re doing everything right!

Not according to my doctor, but then again I’m still kicking.

Well, if you’re talking Canadian Bacon that just an imaginary thing, anyway.

I hate to admit it, but even Canadians don’t eat Canadian back bacon. I did however have an equivalently coronary artery hardening meal for breakfast. Fried in a cast iron skillet with vegetable oil, pan fried sliced potatoes, fried sliced smoked ham (with ketchup), a fried egg, and two toasted slices of sourdough bread slathered with cream cheese. All washed down with a coffee enhanced with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

This was my calorie reduced version, as I had only a single rather than 2 or 3 eggs.

Just don’t tell my doctor.

Oh, lordy, that sounds like (absent the ketchup/catsup) a wonderful breakfast. Fit for a lumberjack!

Using same Uefi partition since forever - no problems.

Is there a reason why you would not install both Bootloaders into the same partition?

I think I meant it due to Windows messing up boot partions… or super common… When you want to reinstall either OS. Its just super easy to do it with separate disks. For longetivity and peace of mind.

the I5 13500H is faster than 5800H but all the other specs are worse , i’m torn between the 2.

I’d go with AMD as even you have noticed has a lot better specs than counterpart (and is still cheaper)

It’s definitely the AMD one. Since all other specs are better with the AMD one, and you also have the OLED display (who would want to miss that one).
And AMD integrated graphics are way better than Intel ones (I don’t know if it has changed much since last year).
4.7 vs 4.4 GHz? Trust me, you wouldn’t notice the difference at all…
You shouldn’t go just with CPU raw power; you should look for an all-rounder.

It’s like when I had to choose between Nokia 8 & Nokia 8 Sirocco 6 years back.
Nokia 8 had a 13 MP Camera vs Sirocco’s 12 MP, but the latter one was the better flagship one .

it’s not just the clock speeds , the i5 is better in almost everything : Intel Core i5 13500H vs AMD Ryzen 7 5800H: performance comparison

Also AMD one (15X) has great compatibility

Yeah, also gets pretty hot, at least for me (2021 Notebook), so you have to throttle down and that’s it for performance.

yeah and the cooling system is the same , i couldn’t find good third party reviews on both laptops unfortunately.
