To be honest with you…Skype was so insignificant, that I forgot that it was still around. Until now when it was mentioned

Weandoze never forgot about it, in fact, I’m willing to bet they had to remove it as a dependency from bunch of their other apps!

Yup, Teams makes calls to Skype (sub)domains, etc. Then again, perhaps it will continue to do so.

Now calling into question security & privacy of Thunderbird.

So… clicking this here gave me an unsettling female-sounding AI voice with a German translation of the actual video. WTF is that? Clicking on the youtube button brought me the actual audio.

New bad feature by google?

I don’t use ThunderTURD. I have a Gmail app and a Protonmail app through WebCatalog.

thuderbird can be considered a fork. the back end it geko and a skin if you will, on normal firefox. One thing about them they are under mozila but independent of them. Its why none of there funding goes to Mozilla much to their regret.

One interpretation is that if you compile the source code oneself then the new terms do not apply. (But would that prevent data scraping???)

#DecentralizedComputing

That is AMD’s recommended retail price. Ask yourself, when, in recent years, has the price stated by manufacturers (AMD, Nvidia…) become the one that reaches the general public?
I totally agree with @Locutus but with the difference that I am European, that is, even less stock than in North America.

I know one person that got a dead CPU after 2 weeks, but there seems to be more than just one issue to consider.

I have a MSI x870 Tomahawk, and so far all running good. I was considering ASrock when choosing x870 boards but now I am lucky I want MSI.

Anything is better then ASUS, I remember having to replace 2 different motherboards on average 3 times till they just magically fail and don’t start up ever again. I even had a motherboard 10 years ago that didn’t have it’s IDE port installed right, half the pins weren’t even soldered to the circuit board properly, the other half weren’t even in the holes they are supposed to be aligned with on the board.

I’m at a loss as to how and why anyone in France can put up with that government on so many different reasons. These people will just pass that non-sense regardless if the people want it or not, or try to stop it. The only way to stop them, is to out think them and come up with human ingenuity to get around the laws.
