Garuda Linux "Bird of Prey" (240428)

Just wanted to post a thumbs up for this new edition of Garuda Bird Of Prey. A job well done and I am happy to say zero issues installing this new edition. I have been using Linux now for almost 5 years and for gaming and good all around purposes this is the best choice. Thank you.

A problem I’m noticing in KDE wayland is duplicated touchpad gestures making actually using touchpad gestures infuriating.

There are the new hardcoded KDE touchpad gestures for the overview, and the same gestured are assigned to other functions in garuda making both happen at the same time.

I’ll use four finger swipe up to see the overview, and it will also maximize the active window. Then when i swipe down to go back to the desktop it hides all windows.

The fix is easy. Changing settings in libinput, but the defaults should be changed to fix it

Adding one note. For some with Plasma 6.0.5 update you may lose afew items from the Desktop’s rightclick menu. I had it happen in two different Arch based OS’s with Plasma and had to restore them.
