Garuda hyprland booting issue

Hi garuda team,
When i installed garuda - hyprland and enter password in login screen it doesn’t get started. Showing lock screen again and again.
Terminal was not opening
So i used ctrl+alt+F5
How to fix
Kindly help

Please use terminal text, not pictures, for garuda-inxi.
```
like this
```
I’m not an Hyprland user, but there are many others recently, so they’ll support better.
I was just wondering if you were using the garuda_hyprland login session, as described here:

yess i am using ventoy for iso installation

kindly help
as i have done all possible method
but nothing worked

If this is Hyprland, you are not choosing the correct session from the login screen.

Do you have more than one DE installed simultaneously?

2 Likes

No
But having triple boot
Means have win11 , garuda kde, Garuda hyprland

If they are separate installations, most likely your issue is having the wrong session selected on the login screen like I mentioned above.

2 Likes

No
Only have garuda-hypr nd hyprland
I have done it correctly
Even i choose both of them one by one
But nothing worked

I don’t think so because Hyprland cannot launch an Xorg session.

Try again to log in to Hyprland, then when it fails switch to the TTY, run these commands, and type the URLs the commands return into the thread:

garuda-inxi | tb
systemctl status display-manager | tb

Just popped up here to mention in case these commands fail to produce a link that’s most likely due to you not being connected to the internet. So,

  1. Ensure networkmanager is up,
sudo systemctl start NetworkManager.service
  1. Connect to the internet with network manager’s TUI utility
nmtui

Shoeing tb: command is not found

Use

systemctl status display-manager | nc termbin.com 9999
garuda-inxi | nc termbin.com 9999

tb is the alias for nc termbin.com 9999
