Browser Warning "Free up space to continue" | psd issue | The second || SOLVED✅

Sorry community, I have to recreate this topic again… because this issue is so annoying.

First time when i open chrome or opera it popups “profile error occurs”. (only in chrome)
and even i clear all data /cache … it still shows “some features of … doesn’t work” & “free up space to continue”

i stop using whats-app in browser, i use whatsapp-for-linux still this issue occurs…but for a month whatsapp-for-linux also now works … it takes reloading and nothing happens…even if i delete all .cache & .local/share data…

each and every time i have to login not only in google account, but also others too. This is hapenning in both Chrome and Firefox.

The solution to disabling “profile sync daemon” …actually don’t disable it permanently…

Truly, it works for a few days but again same issue.
i can’t disable “psd” using garuda assistant also.

And “psd” itself has also advantage, is those advantage are causing problems to me?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/profile-sync-daemon

The design goals and benefits of psd are:

    Transparent user experience
    Reduced wear to physical drives
    Speed

deleting this desktop user account and creating new will not solve the problem cause i did it before;

i just disable psd using…systemctl --user disable --now psd.

they will still be started automatically after a successful disablement
in user scope:
psd.service

We may also re-open the post per request, for future happenings @appu

This is very uncommon actually. By default, it is only enabled in user scope. I see two ways here:

  • force the removal of psd
  • remove firedragon as supported browser from its configuration file (~/.config/psd/.psd.conf) → preferred

No, they are all supported:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Profile-sync-daemon#Supported_browsers
The problem must be somewhere else :frowning:
At a quick internet search, it seems to be a very common problem but with no real/clear solution (but I didn’t have time to check in detail).

Though i am saying it on basis of my 1 day observation … wish this problem not happens again
