My Problem:

Google-Chrome doesn´t start anymore.
When i open it, i see activity (round circle in chrome´s dock icon)
After a few seconds, the circle dissapears and chrome just doesnt start.

Unfortunally i dont remember how i installed chome (it was a few months ago), but i think i downloaded it straight from google.

Any Idea how to fix this?
Or how to re-install chrome?

Try removing (actually rename it, to keep it as backup) the profile folder (it should be $HOME/.config/chrome).

How can i find the profile.folder?
In $HOME/.config there is no chrome or google-chrome folder.
But there is an file named "google-chrome", wich seems to be a link:

The link leads to "/run/user/1000/psd/marco-google-chrome", wich doesnt exist.

It could be a Profile Sync Deamon (PSD) issue.
Give a look at this thread (Vivaldi is based on chrome, so you’ll have to make some changes).

i checked it, isn´t helpfull, when i run " systemctl status psd.service" i get the following error, seems like i dont have psd

Try installing it:

sudo pacman -S profile-sync-daemon

Then enable it:

systemctl --user enable --now psd

google-chrome is of course supported.

Try editing ~/.config/psd/psd.conf, scroll down the line that says BROWSERS= and delete firedragon out of the list.
Then restart the psd.service , or better yet take a reboot.
