okay so what is your output from pacman -Qo /usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-8000C-13.ucode(terminal and enter)?

[root@jacques-20frs08u00 jacques]# pacman -Qo /usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-8000C-36.ucode
erreur : aucun paquet ne contient /usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-8000C-36.ucode
[root@jacques-20frs08u00 jacques]#

okay it isnt exist so please check this pacman -Qkk linux-firmware also in Terminal?

[root@jacques-20frs08u00 jacques]# pacman -Qkk linux-firmware

I think the wifi adapter is this one

02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (rev 78)

Is it the same problem ?

Since when have the issues occurred?
Have you tried the linux-lts kernel?

Several weeks, may be since KDE6.

I havent try the lts kernel…

i had a power cut off yesterday so cant answering but now i will help more out.

you need the ucode file you will find it here (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/wireless.html . Look for the File Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 4.1+ iwlwifi-8000-ucode-25.30.13.0.tgz. download them and extract it.

Then right click on your Extracted Folder and open it in Terminal copie this in and enter. sudo cp iwlwifi-8000C-13.ucode /lib/firmware. Then shutdown the Laptop and start it again. The driver should be load and wifi is working .=)

hopefully it helps =)

Unfortunately it doesn’t seems to work.

All the other files in /lib/firmware are .zst and the one i copied there is .ucode.

Cant it be the problem ?

By the way in /lib/firmware i can see iwlwifi-8000C-34.ucode.zst and iwlwifi-8000C-36.ucode.zst

It should be working for my adapter ?

Any idea for me ?

The newest intel firmware ucode file in /lib/firmware will always be loaded and used. If you wish to test out the older firmware then either temporarily move or rename the newer ucode files in /lib/firmware intended for your adapter.
