Unfortunately, there are also games that do not work with Wine. Somtimes, games in Wine have small graphical glitches or bugs, like with Text.
I tried to get Boti: Byteland Overclocked running with Wine (bought on GOG) but no chance. No success with Lutris nor Heroic Games Launcher. Gives a fatal error after some initialization time.
If anyone got that working, please tell me how!

@Elmar You’ve already brought up this topic here in the forum:
Yet, I only tried one game that always causes a fatal error when started with the current Wine, despite having Proton Gold status: Boti Byteland Overclocked. I didn’t have the chance to play it yet.
Please, if anyone knows how to play Boti Byteland Overclocked (from GOG) on Garuda (I’ve already tried Heroic Games Launcher and Lutris, gave it a new Wine prefix and changed some Wine settings), let me know.
I took the liberty of looking at your log from another forum, which contains a Vulkan error. However, it could also be that your Intel iGPU is the actual cause, as the minimum system requirements for Boti: Byteland Overclocked are a 1050Ti.
In any case, if you continue to experience issues with this game, please open a separate topic and include all the necessary information.
This thread is not intended for resolving game issues. Thank you.

Installing Arc Raiders right now. Any Garudans? Garauders!? Garudis? Garudanians? playing?
(Technically off-topic since it´s still installing, haven´t played it yet.)
Edit1: It runs great. Without any tweaking. Nice setting and feel. Kind of grindy for a solo player playing with randos. Lost aaaaalot of loot.

I played it during open beta weekend.
Runs nice from performance wise, and its awesome they allow the game on Linux!
But overall the game was feeling toooooo mid. A bit boring and plain for my taste. But maybe that was due to restrictions in the beta?
Let me know how is the game now at full release, I maybe will reconsider it.

CPU intense games that run just as or better than when I was running them on Windows, tho I haven’t made a mega factory or had over 20 dupes yet so we’ll see.

At this time,
The Last Caretaker is a thoughtful take on the survival-crafting genre, where every decision you make and every action has a consequence. It offers a deep world exploration experience where step-by-step, you uncover the truth behind the reawakening...
The last caretaker is a really good one. If you had played satisfactory but want a bit of a story.
Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite FPS set in space. Blast through swarms of hostile machines, combine powerful augments and elements to forge your build, and grow stronger with each run — solo or in co-op.
Deadzone is a sleeper hit. Feels like a shooter should.
Fight, sneak, and hack your way through randomly generated cities. It's like Nuclear Throne meets Deus Ex, mixed with the anarchy of GTA. Rogue-lite meets immersive sim, and goes completely insane.
Fight, farm, build and work alongside mysterious creatures called "Pals" in this completely new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game!
And back on Palworld.

I might try it – Satisfactory kind of kills me with how long it takes to physically run everywhere. Wake me when there’s a top down view mod

Just finished Ghost of Tsushima a couple weeks ago.
Started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for the holiday.
Also randomly turn on the latest couple of Doom games when I feel inclined.
