I downloaded KDE Dragonized Version from offical Garuda Linux Website and later i verified SHA256 checksum using GTKHash .
Further made my Pendrive bootable using rufus.Further i held on to bios settings and got into the setup of Garuda. When i select boot using opensource it shows a black screen with some error
mentioning "Error 36:Decoding Error : Corrupted Block Detected" and is not going forward and is gets stuck there.
I even tried other versions such as Garuda gnome etc. but failed to install where it shows the same decoding error.
I currently use Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS.
Processor:Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz × 4
Memory :3.8 GiB
If sha256 checksum is ok then there might be a problem with your pendrive during transferring of the iso...
Try to check bad sectors in your pendrive.
This is not a problem of the Garuda iso it's with pendrive and try etcher or some other instead of Rufus.
First, format your pendrive. I suggest FAT32. I've seen numerous posts such as yours, and if the ISO is valid, the method used valid, then first formatting the pendrive so that it is ready for use tends to solve the mystery.
You were asked by one of the distro developers and forum moderators to provide your system specs (as text). You responded to other posts, but did not provide the requested info.
Refusal to post specs (as text) when requested usually results in your thread being locked on the Garuda forum. If you wish to receive assistance on the Garuda forum be sure to always provide outputs when requested.
Many users seem to take the distro developers responding to their help requests for granted. When a Garuda developer requests you to post outputs you had best comply (or your thread will most likely be locked).
Be proactive and responsive to assistants requests and suggestions on the Garuda forum by providing proper feedback. If you cannot do this, then perhaps you would be best to use Reddit for your support needs in the future.
This thread is locked until you edit your OP (Opening Post) and provide your inxi output (as text) as previously requested.
