Same happened to me and it just appeared eventually. :man_shrugging: Try updating and restarting.

So in Settings > Input Devices > Touchpad, the 'Scrolling: Two Fingers' option is grayed out?

Have you tried different kernels?

Hope this helps, also wanna add that the gestures are not working too. Apologies for the earlier mistake.

Gestures are not well supported in my experience on x11. I did set them up on my kde setup with touche/touchegg for switching virtual desktops though. You might want to check that out.
