Touchpad Settings Won't Persist

hello! I noticed my touchpad speed settings do not persist and reset everytime I restart or shut down, anyway to fix this?

Just found via forum search, I have no idea of what that options psmouse proto=imps in the last post is for. If not working, make sure to revert to the previous status…
