Touchpad settings resets after shutdown

I am using Garuda Linux Dr460nized and like to use

  1. Tap-to-click
  2. Invert scroll direction (natural scrolling)

For some reason the Touchpad settings gets reset back to defaults after every shutdown. I have to enable these 2 options everything I start my Laptop.
My device is ASUS R542U.

create a file under /etc/modprobe.d with anyname.conf

Write this line in the file

options psmouse proto=imps
