Titlebar disappears in fullscreen

Hello

When I maximise windows the titlebar disappears so I can't minimize or close the window.

I tried searching for this and found someone with a similar problem and the solution was to open configure latte but I can't find that at all on my system. I've checked the system settings and can't seem to find the option there.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

With Latte, when windows are maximized you should have the buttons on the left of the top panel, and also the windows titles.
If not, you have to reconfigure your panel with right click, configure panel and set the widgets.
The easiest way would be to reset Latte to deafult config with Garuda Assistant.

I forgot to mention I'm using the "breeze dark" global theme. So resetting latte gives me back the minimize button but now i've got the dock covering my taskbar.

Also helpful, on KDE Plasma, the default hotkey to open the context menu to change window properties individually is Alt + F3 with that window active.

Now I'm a bit lost .
You mean previously you were not using Latte? Or had removed the dock?
In the first case you could set to false the BorderlessMaximizedWindows parameter here, or if you do use Latte you could do it also as a setting in the GUI.

It seems a screenshot would help. I've read elsewhere that this is discouraged on help requests, but i think it could help clear things up.

We love screenshots of the whole monitor, on which you can then read an error message with just one sentence in a pop up window
And of course we don't like terminal output as a photo. You can't make the text searchable or copy it for internet search.
