The video is actually at the end of the guide at the top of this thread [post #1]. When I made the above post I simply copied the image from the first post to show the drop down terminal.
I quite like the white background of Galculator, if everything was black it would be a bit boring.
With regard to stability, it is rock solid. When I previously used Gnome I had a couple of major issues crop up that required quite a bit of time and effort to sort out. I haven’t had a single issue with Xfce regardless of how I’ve modified it. The updated slimmed down version is also more frugal with battery usage than its predecessor.
Since I was using a dark theme I tried using a light wallpaper along with a dark workspace switcher at the bottom of the screen. Things came out a lot better than I expected:
I have to admit, I was looking for a good screen recorder to replace ShareX and by far this blows ShareX out of the water. I can actually record my own voice from my microphone into the video this time around.
