Had a weird issue where steam randomly decided not to launch on that driver. I tried reinstalling steam, the driver rebooting. But it just didn’t work. Launched steam through the terminal and the error was
SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
installed nvidia and nvidia-dkms 455 and rebooted and it works. Maybe this will help someone facing the same issue.
I had it same issue if i want to play Xonotic with chaotic-nvidia-dkms-tkg, but i think it will be something wrong in the configuration. If i had chaotic-optimus-manager-tkg, everything works perfectly, better than stock nvidia drivers.
It could be issue with OpenGL, i found a lot of articles linked with this problem.

Remember modified nvidia-tkg drivers, not yet ready for daily use on Garuda. We have testing state, Garuda Team must spend some time with implementation
Just wait and use stock nvidia drivers.
