Steam Runtime opening Steam Native

Hello,
I always used Steam Native but for gmod I need to use Steam Runtime. When i try to launch Steam Runtime it just opens Steam Native.
How can I fix this?
Thank you in advance!

How are you launching Steam?

What happens if you run steam in a terminal?

On my system, there is explicit steam-runtime command.

But you can even get rid of steam-native and just use steam-runtime. It is more compatible.
