Dude, I grew up with cats, dogs and chickens. Even now, I have TWO cats and a dog. Some cats like to have belly rubs, most cats do not (dogs are literally the other way around), but they certainly are not as ill-tempered as yours seem to be…
Found that out the hard way, huh?
Grandma’s fried-chicken Sunday dinner at the farm. Every Sunday.
I did not find out the hard way, I was told that, and then witnessed it. Most cats just go away if you try to pet their belly.
My Grandmother killed the chickens herself, you need to do it quickly and calmly, you need to break their neck first. We also had chickens that were only to lay eggs and have chicks (not for eating), and even pet chickens.
Also, it is uncommon to fry chickens in Argentina, we mostly roast them (like barbecue), cook them in the over, or make soup/broth.
Your grandma, my grandma, same-same.
Sure, granny had young tender fryers, layers, and she made soup/stew from the tough, old birds. Not so much chicken for barbeque, but that’s a regional thing. A few pigs. No sheep.
Cattle’s the big thing where I grew up. Everybody eats beef (and Oprah’s not invited), and anything else is a swear word. Our barbacoa is beef. And–this area of Kansas is not only still the Old West, but there’s a huge Spanish/Mexican influence, since they, along with Native Americans, were the first settlers to that area.
I grew up eating a lot of German, Dutch, Mexican, and Pawnee culture influenced food.
Here we eat mostly beef too, in fact, most people use the word ¨meat¨ (carne) as a synonym of beef
Wishing our German forum members a healthy and safe Christmas. Apparently they tend to be more “enthusiastic” about holiday sex, especially during Christmas.
Thinking of you, @SGS. I’m hung like a stud field mouse, no no worries here. :sniffle:

It depends A LOT on the poison. Some become inert, some become toxic (but not poisonous).

And I thought the good LSD was only around back in the Sixties. But there’s always Portland.
Como se, llama?
no words really:
Absurd. Linguini would have been a more robust choice.
