Garuda Linux fixed my Del key
I dunno how. It stopped/wasn’t working in Windows. I cleaned around it, pried it up and cleaned, cleaned and further busted it. Reassembled and it was totally broken. Del key suicidally depressed.
Swapped out the whole key setup, physically, with my wife’s broken-but-otherwise-same wireless keyboard. That did no good. Del key still broken. Shutdown. Rebooted, still NG. This is a wireless, illuminated keyboard. Another $99 I ain’t got.
Shut down. Rebooted into a Garuda LiveISO to see what’s what. Del key now working. Rebooted into Windows. Del key still working. Shutdown, rebooted into each and still working.
Garuda Linux fixed my Del key. It’s a Christmas Miracle!
