Setup assistant

hi all new to linux i am trying to run the setup assitant but i select the items i want to install ect ect and at the end it asks for pw i enter it and it does not install anything this also happens if i use add/remove i have tried 5 times to install kodi and it does nothing any ideas or what am i doing wrong

sudo reflector --country Germany --latest 5 --age 2 --fastest 5 --protocol https --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && cat /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && sudo pacman -Syu

Please try launching pamac-manager via terminal and post the output here if it crashes, I wonder if this is the same problem (since pamac-install appearently doesnt open up)

Pamac-manager closes unexpectedly every time

I installed KDE. and update the whole system yesterday. Everything was working fine and installed some apps successfuly. But today I tried to install libreoffice-fresh and some other apps through pamac but I can't install it. Because Pamac-manager is closed automatically and unexpectedly while 'synchronizing package database...'. I restarted laptop 2 times but not working. I also try to update system through pamac-manager. It isn't showing any update. But when I tried command, sudo pacman …
