Pamac-manager closes unexpectedly every time

I installed KDE. and update the whole system yesterday. Everything was working fine and installed some apps successfuly. But today I tried to install libreoffice-fresh and some other apps through pamac but I can't install it. Because Pamac-manager is closed automatically and unexpectedly while 'synchronizing package database...'.

I restarted laptop 2 times but not working.

I also try to update system through pamac-manager. It isn't showing any update. But when I tried command,

sudo pacman -Syu

I found some updates. and Installed it.

I also install tkinter using command line,

sudo pacman -S tk

and it installed successfully.

The issue is only arise when I use pamac-manager.

Try starting pamac-manager via cli and see if you can catch a log.
(This seems to be an issue to report at Manjaros GitLab though)

Starting pamac-manager using CLI gives,

This one can probably be fixed by reapplying the GTK theme in KDE settings.
Id also suggest reinstalling garuda-hooks as that applies a fix to this problem:

I reapplied theme and that works. Thank you @dr460nf1r3.

Edit:
Reapplying theme is partially working as it still crashes while installing some apps and not displaying featured apps.
and pamac starts completely working after reinstalling Garuda hooks.

I want to ask that you @dr460nf1r3, what cause this error? Am I done something wrong thats why this error occurs or something else?

There are 2 errors here:

I wonder why he says (1 month ago)

Well I see no issues with the last appstream data

When there is one :scream:

Maybe some other app/utility/script (or a user ) changes GTK theme.
Plasma applies GTK settings to local user GTK-related files (~/.config/{gtk-3.0,gtkrc,gtkrc-2.0} , so it fixes what's changed. Verify looking at time-stamps.

Just for futureproofing if you rely on GUI installers then install Octopi.

It is the Qt version graphical package installer more suited to KDE's Qt desktop.

I usually keep both installed even though I generally rely on the terminal. I prefer Pamac overall, but I prefer the way Octopi does some things differently.

Either way, I mostly use graphical installers for browsing packages or perhaps a single package install. IMO you should always use pacman for performing upgrades.

Again from @ tbg,
Also, please refrain from personally pinging the devs of the distro by using the @ feature of the discourse forum software. As librewish & SGS have already responded to your thread they will receive a notification from the forum software that a reply has been posted on this topic without personally pinging them.

It is totally unnecessary to ping the devs when they have already replied to your thread as they will be notified regardless. It is also considered as being presumptuous and rude to personally ping the distros devs or forum support staff. If the devs are not too busy working on the project, they will respond to your inquiry without resorting to annoying them with personal pings.

Please refrain from this practice unless it is an issue of utmost urgency involving a serious distro related bug.

I am very very sorry for that, my intesion was not personally pinging admins but want more clarification on the post given by whoever admin written that post. Next time I will take care of that. I am completely new linux user started using linux about five months ago. And I am completely new to rolling distros so always seeking for some new knowledge.

Once again very very sorry for that. I will always take care of that next time.

And if you still believe I am rude because of my two posts. Then, Frankly saying I will be very happy to leave forum.

I copy and paste the link and second time you ping again I paste all text, you are not rude.

I thought did he read the text in link?
Now I know you did
To be clear, everybody from team get all new posts in a list, there is no extra ping needed.

Unless it is an absolute emergency (heart attack or something  )
