Second monitor doesn't show buttons

hi, there
I have a problem with my second monitor, when I execute a program in my second monitor the window get maximize but it does not show the 3 classic buttons of minimize, maximize or close. so I always have to use alt+f4 to close it.

is there anyway to set up the second monitor in order to show all windows full with those buttons and menu?

thanks

If it is KDE, you can use mouse on taskbar, left click hold, move mouse in window.

You didn't read "Reporting bugs"

If you include terminal outputs in your post please use the proper output format in your post. Using "~" 3 times above and "~" 3 times below the text block will provide a readable, raw look.

there is not task bar in my second monitor, just in the primary one.

Just a try, I have only one monitor :frowning:

:sob: thank you anyway

Hello baxtard,
I solved this problem by adding another Latte Dock to the second Monitor.

  1. right click on the latte dock, then "Configure Latte".
  2. in the tab "Layouts Editor" on the right click on "Docks, Panels..."
  3. click on the upper dock and then on the right on "Duplicate"
  4. at "Screen" point to your 2nd monitor.

Now you will see the dock on both monitors and therefore also the window menu and "Close/Maximize/Minimize" in full screen.
You can now customize the dock of the 2nd monitor as you wish.

best regards

hi, It does not let me select the second monitor, no right click, not drag....no menu...

You need to do the steps on your first monitor.

I did everything in my first monitor... but there is no option or menu or right click to select the second monitor.

Double-Click on "Primary", then you'll have a drop-down menu.
