Hello there, It’s me, again.
Last big update of Garuda, I had sensibly the same problem (session wasn’t launching at all).
So, I did try to go back to my last working snapshot, see the second inxi bellow.
Here is the session after I told the system to restore the snap, but it updated the kernel and lots of stuff, I don’t think it restored it well.
Problems:
-Second Screen not working at all, not even recognized
-Discord seems to think I have a windows update problem (minor, not Garuda related I think)
-Steam not working because nvidia driver became a mess with the update
Why every time I have problem with Garuda updates? Too old GPU? Sadness.
Already tried to garuda-update remote fix, which was the solution last time
