All the clocks and widgets stop fonctionning after a couple of minutes of desktop inactivity, i have to click on the desktop directly or on the clock to unfreeze the whole thing, It's like the whole desktop freezes or something.

I made a video to show an example:

@PhilC

Please, post terminal input and output as text formatted between three ~ in first and last line.

greetings SGS

Does this happen when using an X session as well?

Wayland is still not totally bug free on KDE, (although it has come a long way).

Welcome to the Garuda community.

The bug only appears to be on Wayland, nothing in X11.

So sorry, i don’t understand what to do with “my terminal text”.
Text from what?

Text from what?

from your terminal. I wrote it here

What is the command line i should use in the terminal in order to have the input/output?

This

and I fixed the wrong format for you in the first post.

My help text referred to future posts of yours, so it’s formatted correctly right away.

Here you can read the long version.

As I suspected this is likely a KDE/Wayland issue. KDE is still not 100% compatible with Wayland yet. Not sure what you can do about this other than thoroughly searching for similar issues with a pre-existing workaround of some kind. Otherwise, your only option would seem to be filing a bug report on the KDE bug tracker.

I was using Arcolinux on Wayland for the past 18 months and i never had this bug before. That is a couple weeks ago that i changed for Garuda.
I should try to install Arcolinux on another disc to check if the bug appears on their system too.
