I would suggest trying out the easiest solution first. Try changing the kernel to the LTS kernel.
sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers
and then you can either go to garuda boot options
software and select the default boot to
option as Garuda linux with linux-lts
. Or just select advanced boot option
→ garuda linux with linux-lts
every boot from grub.
If this doesn’t help then my friend sit tight since you are in for a journey according to the archwiki. First download alsa-utils
sudo pacman -S alsa-utils
Archwiki has a topic called Random lack of sound on startup
. which says
If you have no sound on startup, this may be because your system has multiple sound cards, and their order may sometimes change on startup. If this is the case, try setting the default sound card .
And you do fit this description to a T. You have multiple sound cards and do face random lack of sound on startup.
Visit this archwiki page → Advanced Linux Sound Architecture/Troubleshooting - ArchWiki to begin troubleshooting your device.
I understand that this troubleshooting journey might be a little tedious but do hold on and post on forum if you get stuck anywhere.

Thank you so much, i ended up using the solution in section 3.2.3 in the wiki you sent me and now the sounds work better and there are no cutouts and random degradation of audio
tho they say to set it to the first name that comes out but i ended up setting ALSA_CARD to generic_1 which is my onboard sound card
edit:
sometimes it comes back even after setting the sound card
setting the bluetooth in settings from restore previous state to enable bluetooth
and disabling and enabling bluetooth again

I hope this environment variable was set using /etc/environment
file. Like this,
ALSA_CARD=generic_1
If it was try setting it to the first sound card name that comes out.
You can also look around more using
alsamixer
A tui utility that should have been a part of alsa-utils
we installed before.
I am not quite sure what you are trying to convey in this line. Were you trying to share some steps to troubleshooting you have tried?
