Pc wont boot after moving and resizing / and /home partition

I shrunk my /home partition and expanded the / partition to take up the newly created space. I also deleted the swap apparition to change to dynamic swap files and expanded the / partition into where the swap partition was. I did this all from a gparted live usb. when I boot it shows the grub menu once garuda is selected it just says failed to start virtual console setup

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
I think you’ll have to adjust the UUID’s of your partitions in the /etc/fstab file (they might have changed in your resizing) and I’d also reinstall the GRUB.
To do that, you’ll have to chroot into your installed system from the Garuda live USB using this procedure:

PS: you’ll have also to remove the swap line from fstab and swapoff, if not yet done before removing the swap partition.
