Pamac workaround - no fix?

Yes, Snap, Flatpak, AppImage could all work. It's just the thought of the package manager not being a native application.

Yes, if it was Garuda package manager.
For Garuda it’s just a newbie assistant.
Although for Manjaro would sound a real tragedy or… comedy. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I think I have a better idea. We should simply add a "conflicts" with pamac to Garuda assistant and be done with the bloody thing forevever.

I've heard enough whining about pamac for a lifetime already. Perhaps it's simply time pacman is returned to its rightful throne.
