Mastadon and Bluesky are going no where. both are slowly contracting from a peak that was like 1% of X user activity. most people made a protest (against X) account didnât post much and many just go back to X later anyway. These alternatives are like GAB on the right except I remember people actually used GAB, but very few seriously thought it was a way to topple twitter other than the GAB founder (and he only thought that for a short time). Difference was that GAB actually let people talk about topics and events that werenât allowed on twitter whereas bluesky people just donât like orange man and Elon and relative to more free discussion that isnât just not going to topple X but not even going to make a user population stable service. mastadon combines the discord moderator power tripping issue and untenable user fragmentation of tumbler so bluesky at least doesnât seem to have these issues maybe a little ban happy though.
IDK what GAB is, and the translation failed.
In the end, the people got what they want to read, vote and use.
I have to look for a place where stupidity doesnât rule and NestlĂ© doesnât own any water rights.
It will definitely be difficult.

Might try being accurate. Bluesky is taking off big time. Accounts on it that either got banned by the fascist U.S. president MuskRAT on X or simply left because of the delibrate misinformation on X are far larger on Bluesky. Almost ALL the important accounts have either completely moved to Bluesky or have accounts on both platforms. X like Truthsocial are both toilet sites that are in the toilet.

The problem is that almost all of these mislabeled âsocialâ platforms are massively infiltrated by governments, political parties, intelligence agencies, etc. to influence public opinion in their favor.

Who is getting hostile and/or political? I notice that this standard has no relation to who actually is hostile or political instead who is likely to discuss an existing topic from differing perceptive that someone *else* will later become hostile over.
And to emphasize in as much as it was political it is always already discussed perfectly fine just with the opposite political view and this game always plays out in the same direction.
Specifically for most recent instance (though this has happened every single time for me) blusky has been perfectly well discussed for a long time with about *35 posts* still in that exact thread unadulterated/unmodded even now nearly all glazing the website until I posted objective data contradicting the glazing with the fact that the site has had a consistent decrease in use for a long while and my opinion that this fits the trend of every other twitter/x dethrone attempt and in a perfectly civil way (even more that my summary now) and the discussion suddenly becomes hostile and topic political.
I donât know if I understand you correctly, but it had nothing to do with you. It wasnât about discussing different opinions either.
It was solely about the obscured post by @Grimy1928 , in which he insulted and defamed other users.
He had the brilliant idea yesterday to repost the content of this post.
