Off Topic Chit Chat - (Silliness factor 5)

Are you talking about .local on your system? There are a lot of applications settings stored there that would/may hurt some apps. Not sure if that is sound.

You are right…
I was being lazy and careless, because I didn’t have that many apps.
You might only have to delete .local/plasma/ , .local/systemsettings , .config/kde.org , .config/kdedefaults & .kde4

ChatGPT gives those kind of answers, too…

Well I didn’t check ChatGPT.
It means ChatGPT is doing great just like me…

KDE Plasma 6 is very similar to Windows.
Default setting: double click.
Even if it is corrected with two mouse clicks (not a double click!), this default setting is nonsense.

The tentative new Plasma 6 settings were announced by KDE months ago, so, unfortunately, your time for input into what they would be has long passed.

But when concerns boil down to a 1-click setting change–well, that’s not really a concern concern. It’s just pissing & moaning.

:duck:

But this is “silliness factor 5” anyway.

That’s it. If you have nothing to complain about, you have to find something to complain about.

You, I, and (especially) my wife are in complete agreement!

Double click — that borders on animal cruelty! If mice can bite…

I have to agree. It’s been so long since I double-clicked anything, my muscle-memory has lost its mind–and its muscle.

I was just wondering:
Garudahyprland Link
Should this be there, considering there already exists a hyprland directory…
If it should, how does it work hand in hand with the other config.
P.s I have no idea what gum is?

This is an optional config that will be provided in new ISOs whenever it will be released ,
It is there because we don’t want to change the the default configs, which basically contains only single file as configs as many users will like to have it like this .

:innocent: , explains a lot. In the back of my head I was like “how does this work”. Its cool that un-explainable things in the code already have a deep explanation in the forrum

What about a cat gives birth to their babies in your father’s old shoes ?

Cats have a keen sense of smell: With their 65 million olfactory cells and Jacobson’s organ on the palate, which additionally supports their ability to smell, your cat can perceive much more complex smells than you with your approximately 20 million olfactory cells. But cats are also individualists. Some cats probably also like the smell of old shoes.

Baloney. I know cats. They’re jerks, all of them. Annoying, lovable jerks, but still jerks.
