you should check out the new rules for gtk5 its only downhill. cosmics not ready yet (still has memory leaks) and theming is kinda a mess but theirs hope it might get a bit better there as time goes on. Though gtk 3ish 4+ app have 0 global menu support. so its best to look elsewhere if you want that to work. on other OS’s
