Nvidia RTX 2050 graphics card not recognized

Hello

I just installed garuda linux on a new computer. I have already installed garuda on another computer and I did not have this problem. I installed Garuda with the open source drivers and I wanted to install the proprietary drivers later but Garuda did not offer them to me and when I try to install them by myself I get this feedback

The graphics card used is the Intel card and I don’t know how to change it since all I found was on a parameter in UEFI that I am not.

can fix it .

Today’s update seems to have resolved the problem on its own, I no longer have the error.

But I still don’t have the Nvidia drivers, I ran Garuda-setup-assistant but it doesn’t offer to install them, and they aren’t there in hardware configuration either.

I also noticed that my computer uses the processor’s integrated graphics card instead of the Nvidia card, the only tutorial I found to change the default graphics card was to go to UEFI and modify a parameter that I do not have.

try to run sudo pacman -S nvidia-525xx-dkms nvidia-525xx-settings nvidia-525xx-utils nvidia-zen
it should catch drivers for you.

Your card uses the most latest drivers, so just use this:

sudo pacman -S nvidia-dkms

Some specific nvidia cards aren’t handled more easily with more automatic means of driver installation (like using Garuda Settings Manager). The RTX 2050 (NVIDIA GA107) is one of them:
