IDK about multi monitor settings, but I use Nvidia X-Server EInstellungen.

[sudo] Passwort für sgs:
is enough, no sudo need in front.
And if you do not post your inxi -Faz we do not know why you nvidia 470XX is displayed.

Ok. just use Nvidea Settings in System-Settings or from launcher.
Nvidia-settings can't open form GUI or Terminal

If you use optimus-manager, I see this was affected by the python update yesterday and should be reinstalled.
