Numlock on Boot

Hello i have recently installed Garuda on an old PC and can’t seem to get Numlock to be enabled on boot. I have edited /usr/lib/sddm.conf.d/default.conf file to Numlock=on to no effect. I have checked the Archwiki after seeing another Post on editing /etc/sddm.conf but cant seem to figure it out. Any assistance is highly appreciated. best regards

Please be more specific about your attempts and sources.
Could you please post the content of your /etc/sddm.conf and if available any /etc/sddm.conf.d/*.conf?
Edit:
Just found this. Check if the suggested workaround works (not clear to me if it is for Wayland or also x11). But the bug seems to be clear.

Thank you for quick reply. this was where i found the editing /etc/sddm.conf
and this was Archwiki i had checked
nano /etc/sddm.conf only shows:

[Autologin]
Session=plasma

and /etc/sddm.conf.d i can’t find.
will check you’re solution now

I think that bug is applicable to Wayland only :frowning:
Please check also

/usr/lib/sddm/sddm.conf.d/general.conf

And set Numlock=on

It worked. My mistake i Simply had to edit the /etc/sddm.conf directly by adding:

[General]
InputMethod=
Numlock=on

Thanks for amazing Distro and Support! Garuda is my by far favorite Arch based Distro and community.
