Sorry didnt notice the message was incomplete.
You can always add a dock if it's not. . .
I have been trying to install latte dock but the program wont even start when i go to run it.
Latte-dock is specific for KDE.
You could try cairo-dock in the Arch repo.
See also some info here
Thanks for that info. much appreciated
Tried Cairo dock but i am unable to configure it. Any others u can think of. Thanks
Plank works awesome.
I must be doing something wrong, i installed it but it wont even run.
Please run plank from terminal and post the results.

They messaged me. Looks like he may be on Wayland but we're still looking for his inxi and what you asked for @SGS

Also ~? Is this a live iso?? There's so many questions I can't wait to see where this goes..
And it’s Wayfire with Wayland compositor?
That would be strange. Right?? I thought KDE+Wayland wasn't really a thing still.
Edit: I have looked and realized wayfire is exactly this and could explain the result. I have no idea why latte didn't work though.
That's just a parsing error on gtk-dark.css, which should be OK when he removes Plank or installs a theme compliant with both Wayland and Plank. Or maybe it just needs a reboot.
I guess. I know nothing about any of those. Or Wayland. Or the commodities market either, as it turns out.
Until we get some system info, this could be on anything still. We can only speculate.
If it is KDE, I'd be really interested why latte didn't work, and would be my absolute suggestion over plank.
OP states Wayfire, but by now who knows what may have been pulled in by whatever has been installed. The title seems misleading, since he refers solely to dock(s) in the original post.
But yeah, it's wasted energy until OP helps out.
