My discover Have Error

I new user linux (I apologize if I make a mistake.)

To use Discover for apps, install your preferred module on the Settings page, under Missing Backends.

Do not use Discover, use pacman, paru or pacseek in terminal

Obviously.

Users should never, ever do this in Arch or Arch-based Linux Distributions. Just because it can be done does not mean it should be done. It can lead to a partial upgrade situation, which can cause all sorts of system problems.

Then learn Linux and don’t post things that can prove dangerous.

^This. Be sure to check our wiki first as we already have preferred ways of updating and getting packages.

I’ve tried using discover recently and opening it for the first time said something like “Discover is not configured to be used for Garuda Linux”. Basically huge warning sign there to not use it for normal packages. If it isn’t configured by the Linux distro, it most likely doesn’t want you using it . Garuda Linux already has it’s preferred ways of updating and getting packages. garuda-update should be used to update as it does more than simply update packages: Garuda Update | Garuda Linux wiki

discover should only really be used for KDE/Plasma related things specifically. I was using it last trying to find a workaround for updating plasmoids due to this bug: 484057 – Can't upgrade plasma plasmoid from get new window
