Multi-Monitor on HP Omen 15 en1xxx (HDMI, DisplayLink not working as 2nd monitor)

Hi @Naman

  • I installed garuda-optimus-manager-config through Software Add/Remove (Pamac UI)
    • The package garuda-nvidia-prime-config got removed
  • I did a reboot and ... it worked (both monitors on HDMI direct)
  • I now can configure with the "Settings" app right away
    • Settings still cannot set "Scale" to 200% ... but, hey?! --> maybe later, maybe a seperate issue
  • There is NO additional icon anywhere in sight
    • There's a new App "Optimus Manager" available, but starting it does nothing
  • There still are the settings in the right-upper corner available for "Power Profiles" (Power Save, Balanced, Perfomance) -- I thought this was garuda-nvidia-prime-config

In the end: I can now access directly connected HDMI monitors which was part 1 of my quest.

I will accept "Install and Use Optimus Manager" as the answer.
