Lost access to my windows dual boot

Hello Garuda team, I need some help please.

I have 2 separate hard disks - one for linux and one for windows

i was running manjaro on my 1st drive and windows on my 2nd drive and i was presented with options to boot at the grub screen.

Now i replaced manjaro with garuda and when i turn on my pc i dont see the windows drive.

I dont even see the drive at the bios boot options anymore.

Rebooted.

And the same result, i dont see windows in the grub menu and i still dont even see it in the bios screen.

IDK what this edge thing is, but it is not the garuda grub (menu).

efibootmgr, lsblk, sudo blkid?

Maybe it could help to see the output of

efibootmgr

and

sudo ls -la /boot/efi/EFI

that is my bios boot menu for my MSI motherboard.
it should show my windows drive but it does not.

Sorry, I just corrected. Not capital letters.
When you installed, what did you check for EFI system partition at the end?
Did you overwrite

/dev/nvme0n1p1

This might explain why your Windows bootloader seems to be gone.

 ╭─home@home in ~
 ╰─λ sudo ls -la /boot/efi
[sudo] password for home:
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jan 1 1970 .
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 208 May 26 21:52 ..
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 May 8 04:47 EFI

Be patient, I corrected again.
My mobile phone wants always to decide for me...

all i did was install garuda on my disk where manjaro was (im a linux newbie)

 ╭─home@home in ~ as 🧙 took 3s
 ╰─λ sudo ls -la /boot/efi/EFI
total 16
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 May 8 04:47 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jan 1 1970 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 May 8 04:47 boot
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 May 8 04:47 Garuda

sudo ls -la /boot/efi/EFI
insgesamt 20
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 24. Jul 2021 .
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 1. Jan 1970 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 4. Feb 2021 Boot
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 24. Jul 2021 Garuda
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 4. Feb 2021 Microsoft

It seems that you have made a mistake.
That is why dualboot is not supported by Garuda. It works, but leads to problems now and then. If you can use two hard disks, it is easier but not better.

If I remember correctly, but I don't install so often, calamares at the last step allows to select an existing EFI system partition (which should be done in these cases) or recreate it.
I don't know how this can be fixed for Windows (recreate a bootloader using an existing partition) but I'm sure it can be done...

I suggest using something like a live USB with Rescatux

Windows likes to install it's bootloader literally anywhere. You might have overwritten it when you installed garuda.

Try to reinstall it via some windows rescue media
