Linux & Tech news šŸ“°

Just to clear things up on inadequate reactions - if you’ll re-read it - you’re the first one even mentioning it here, there’s no need to fight imaginary wars with something that wasn’t even stated or debated.

HONK-HONK

But since some people clearly misunderstood my reaction for the given news - i’ll expand a bit and close any wrong ideas of what i meant with it. In my view Greta’s FFF doomsday cult is purely political movement that in reality has about…nothing to do with climate change and advocates for some objectively horrible stuff, if you’ll actually dare to research their offered ā€œsolutionsā€ and affiliations.
Certainly the ā€œcauseā€ of vandalizing some Apple store’s property (which i really HATE for multiple other reasons) has nothing to do with climate change either.

It’s all about as legit, as quote of world famous doctor and climatologist Bill Gates, saying that planting trees is very bad for climate, while literally advocating to spray chemical dust into atmosphere to cover sky from the sun, like in The Matrix movie.
Same goes for Extinction rebellion.
Those lunatics are dangerous and are purest form of doomsday cults that world have seen throughout history many times before, they all has nothing to do with stated goals, climate, science or reason for that matter.

There are plenty of legit scientific organizations and debates around the subject, which doesn’t require anyone to go nuttier than a squirrel :chipmunk:, while offering some sound proposals of improving…you know, the actual ecological situation of our  :earth_africa:

Hopefully it cleared all the misconceptions.
But anyways, it’s certainly not the place to actually debate politics or climate here, since it’s against the forum rules.

aaaand now back on topic!

That’s so amusing.
