yes the only Qt apps with broken theming are garuda tools on my laptop too .

All QT5 apps weren’t themed correctly on my system. I fixed it by installing kvantum-qt5 and setting the environment variable QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=kvantum which you seem to already have set.

thank you the solution was installing kvantum-qt5 .

This might be a worthy candidate to add to garuda-dr460nized package dependencies to fix it for everyone without having to do anything.

Excellent idea!

Can it also be added to the Xfce version?

Thats on @Yorper to decide

So the garuda tools weren’t ported to qt6? If so, they still rely on qt5 libs. Or is there a qt6compat lib or something they rely on now?

Sounds like an issue with Garuda tools and not xfce. Tools should probably pull kvantum as a recommended depend.

Not all editions use Kvantum as theme engine though.

I’ve added a note to the Xfce customization guide I created.

Nice one! Sway needed this as well. fix(garuda-sway): add kvantum-qt5 to deps (309594a1) · Commits · Garuda Linux 🦅 / PKGBUILDs · GitLab

I did Gnome while I was in there, since we don’t have a Gnome maintainer at the moment. fix(garuda-gnome): add kvantum and kvantum-qt5 to deps (c4a3a45c) · Commits · Garuda Linux 🦅 / PKGBUILDs · GitLab
