Seriously, we need maintainers (or a team) who have enough time to do the relevant tasks *, there is no point if everything ends up being left to the Garuda team.

I remember that when Garuda was launched people often asked if Garuda was intended to exist longer to make the installation worthwhile.

I just wanted to provoke a little. 
I already wrote that I thought the Multimedia Edition was superfluous.
Well, it had a few more features, but you can install them on the Dr460nized Edition without any problems.
Right now Garuda is ranked 11th in Distrowatch!
That is an incredibly fantastic achievement. Keep it up!
I consider it out of the question that Garuda could suffer the same fate as AntergOs. Just concentrate on the essentials. But what am I writing ... you're doing everything right!

None has stepped up.
Just opened a merge request with garuda adding the changes I suggested. I can try to do this in parallel to the Mate addition, if we do still want it in the community repository.

I am getting a major split-screen problem upon boot, to the point where it's not usable 
Maybe my hardware is just not strong enough for KDE Multimedia.
I still stand behind my opinion that if there aren't more testers and this version is just a very loaded kde we should consider moving it to unmaintained.
Regardless of what happens, the fact that early on there was a Garuda Multimedia Edition has left its mark on the distro, many community members appreciated its suggestions including forum members and youtubers, and it will continue to live with us.
@RUanauR I suggest that when you find a time, write in the forum or even add a wiki entry of how to create your own multimedia edition based on dr460nized. It is really a wonderfully maintained edition, and you don't have to go with the eccentric beautyline look. I think the tools that Garuda setup assistant supplies along with just basic research into open source software should be more than enough for one to create their own kde multimedia.

Have you tried typing killall latte into krunner.
For me it only affects the live session.
Just made a MR to reupload latte layout file in kde 5.21 so that should fix it

Totally understandable. I will now step out of the way and hand this project back completely to you!
Will try. However, it’s not a very user friendly experience if you have to use workarounds to get to the install stage.
I just reexported the late layout should work as soon as MR is accepted.

Yes, it is really exhausting until it works. But it works.
But what for? Nobody needs it.

I cherish the last ISO. But the partition has long been occupied again. Bluestar,de. Multimedia can also be tinkered with. An endless story ... Antergos used to be good too.
